School Council

The Upper School Student Council consists of 1 or 2 representatives from each of the Upper School classes.

We meet about once a month on a Friday afternoon to discuss ideas for school life, as well as working on actions from previous meetings. We always have an agenda, informed by the students (and sometimes a task or question from SLT!), and we finish with ‘any other business’ and a look in the student suggestion box. We then share the meeting minutes with all staff and students.

Our meetings are attended by representatives from Westmorland and Furness Council, providing a link to the wider community and involving our students in the work of the big council!

We hope you enjoy reading the minutes and seeing the amazing contributions our students make to school life and the wider community.
