Helping our students find their potential
School data comes in many forms. we have given you information about how our students progress through the Sandgate Steps and some of the qualifications that our students take.
The Sandgate Steps help us to show progress in our students along one continuous pathway from the lowest of attainment levels through to the equivalent of mid GCSEs.
If a student is on a pathway that leads towards formalised exams at Keys Stage 4 and 5 we will show progress through results in Entry Level Exams / Level 1 or 2 exams or possibly GCSEs.
Many of our students that are not on the exam pathway take ASDAN qualifications that show progress in other ways, such as the degree in which levels of independence have increased over time.
